I consider myself to be a builder. That's what gets me out of bed in the morning. I get excited to see a quality product get out into the world that brings communities together. I enjoy playing my part and pitching in wherever I can to help a business grow. I love meeting people and figuring out how we can come to reach a common goal. I've worked in the media for 25 years and worked on political campaigns for another 10. I thrive under the pressure of a deadline, a moving target and the unknown. Professionally my biggest accomplishments are linked to transitions. I've been integral in helping one station transition from an NBC to an ABC affiliate. I've played key roles in putting systems in place for company buy outs so that the place of work can continue to keep it's feet on the ground and run. This primarily includes, building new relationships with new sales reps, agency buyers and having those relationships align with the technical aspects that come along with it, such as new computer systems. Essentially, getting a new job with new coworkers on the fly while sitting in the same office. It's a rewarding experience to get those ducks in a row.Finally, I love public speaking and performing. I've given plenty of speeches and toasts, performed in quite a few improv shows with my 3 groups, done a smattering of stand up, sang at open mic nights, and accompanied my school choir on the piano. All of them scared me and doing all of them anyway has made me stronger and ready for more!
