As the Marketing & Event Coordinator at Six Feet Up, I coordinate the marketing efforts across LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, and industry-specific social media platforms. In addition, I coordinate speaking opportunities for the Six Feet Up team and promote our engagements. We attend many large conferences across the world, such as PyCon, AWS Summits, re:Invent, and more. I spearhead the marketing efforts behind our brand at booths, promotional handouts and sponsorship opportunities we participate with.Six Feet Up is also the founder of 2 Meetups in Indiana: IndyPy (Python programming language Meetup), founded in 2007 with over 1,600+ members and IndyAWS (Amazon Web Services user group Meetup), founded in 2017 with over 650+ members. With these organizations, I coordinate additional social media and marketing efforts to grow attendance, find speakers for the monthly events, and promote community engagement. In addition, we record the sessions so those not in Indianapolis can watch the talks at their convenience, and I am responsible for recording, editing and promoting the talks once completed. I coordinate 3 Meetups a month and 4 conferences a year for these organizations in addition to Six Feet Up marketing efforts. I am placed wherever I am needed. Primarily, I assist with the Touch Tank by handling crowd control as well as running the shows that happen at the tank. Additionally, I take on a host role for birthday parties, including giving tours to the group, giving animal encounters, and wherever the party needs assistance. In addition to these roles, I show the guests different educational animals through our on grounds animal encounters. I need to be a friendly, welcoming face to all who enter the park and can provide assistance on how to make their experience a great one! There are countless smaller roles that are included in my position, but you can direct any further questions to me.

Studebaker West (Painter/Whitcraft) Desk

This position allows me to be the eyes and ears of the building, as I am the one to see who is walking in and out, in order to ensure the safety of the residents in the building. I additionally can rent out sports equipment, refunds relating to laundry or vending machines, as well as check out visitor cards to those who wish to have guests. As the first official face new visitors see when coming into the building, I am expected to be friendly and welcoming. I need to be able to answer any question someone might have, or direct them to someone who can, if I am unable. This job has simple clerical tasks as well, so a variety of skills are implemented in this position.

As a dog caretaker, the role is basically what it seems. During the day, I care for the dogs, both the boarding dogs and those there for the day. This includes making sure each of them are fed when they need to be, the water bowls are always full, there is no fecal matter or other unpleasantness in the indoor or outdoor yards. When guests arrive, I also act as a cashier and make sure the services are paid for and assist in any way I can with the guests' questions. Any additional services I provide with this role are as needed, and questions can be directed to me.
