I grew up in a family business. I saw firsthand what it takes to be an entrepreneur and how important it is to focus on the customer experience. It is hard work and sacrifice and you do it because you love it and you enjoy brightening someone else’s day.I think this is why the two things I am most passionate about are People and Process. The greatest asset to any company is the people who work there. I find my drive and motivation in the user experience. I love a workplace that is comprised of all different backgrounds and perspectives. It is amazing to learn and grow with a community of great people around you. I don’t have all the answers, and I can’t do everything by myself. This is why I love collaboration, working together towards a common goal. I am very inquisitive and like knowing how what I do can help someone else. I will be the first to raise my hand and say, “I don’t know how but I’m willing to learn!”After I have a foundational understanding of how things work, I always think about how we can share this knowledge with others. Creating standard operating procedures is my favorite thing to do. Yes, my zest for documentation runs deep because I know the only way to pull someone else up is to show and explain the why and how. Knowledge is power and it can propel us all forward. You should always be succession planning so you can keep climbing to wherever you want to grow and go.
