My responsibilities included preparing and purifying small molecule compounds for in vivo and in vitro assays. I also was responsible for scaling up any promising compounds I made. I assisted in interpreting pharmacological and pharmacokinetic information to determine what compounds should advanced and what if any changes should be made. I also had to keep a detailed electronic notebook so that my experiments could be repeated. I participated in bimonthly meetings where I presented of my progress to the rest of the Chemistry lab. I have experience running and interpreting LCMS, H NMR, and C NMR data, including NOESY and COESY on a daily basis. I also used Biotage Automated Normal Phase Chromatography, Gilson Automated Reverse Phase Chromatography for purification on a daily basis.
