Global Telecommunications Manager
CurrentResponsible for all Voice and Data Communications within BRP. Global responsibilities include WAN (private and Public),LAN,(Wired and Wireless), Phone Systems,Call Centers and Voice ServicesResponsible for architecture of voice/data platforms, project delivery, and operational performance. Gathers business requirements and turns these into technical solutions. Manages vendors in delivery of services worldwide as well as negotiating global contracts for Telecom Services. Responsible for setting global standards for Telecommunications.Recent projects include: Migration from Avaya to Cisco IP Telephony (CUCM) through the establishment of Regional Clusters, Avaya Call Center to Cisco UCCE global platform. Call Center projects include Western Europe, Canada, US, Latin America with pending projects for APAC. Combined Call Centers support BRP Agents at BRP locations & off premise 3rd party agents.MPLS migration from EVPN to AVPN, LAN upgrades at major data center sites (chassis and switch replacement), Manufacuring Upgrades to support automation, Wreless migration to include controller consolidation, Flex connect, & AVC. Firewall upgrades, Internet strategy & SIP rationalization. New facilities (construction team), office relocations,facility buildouts, &remodeling. Conducts Site surveys, evaluates floor plans & communication options. BRP Clubs - Club planning team for all NA Dealer Clubs. Involved in contract negotiations, site surveys, network planning/design as well as onsite presence for each Club.
