My passion is helping entrepreneurs achieve their dreams. I started my career running a family-owned business and have helped many small & mid-sized companies expand, grow and be successful ever since. I have been an owner, a CEO, a Vistage Chair, a Vistage Executive and now work extensively as a coach and consultant to numerous executives to help them grow as leaders as well as growing their businesses. In 2014, my book, "Putting Together the Entrepreneurial Puzzle: The Ten Pieces Every Business Needs to Succeed” was published as a collection of the most common problems that hamper small business success. I compiled my solutions to these problems in one book. “Puzzle” is written as ten interconnected but freestanding chapters addressing the fundamental areas of business any successful entrepreneur must be prepared to develop and manage.In 2018, my book, "The Great Culture [Dis]Connect," was published. It's a tool for entrepreneurs, executives, managers, and anyone concerned with the work environment and company culture they are a part of. Filled with both positive and negative examples of company culture, this book shows how a company’s foundation is its values. It covers numerous aspects of culture from how to select values, how to deal with cultural misfits, as well as looking to the future to build toward a leader's cultural legacy.I run a consulting practice in Seattle, focusing on strategic planning, CEO coaching, leadership development and speak on Intentional Culture for organizations large and small. Since 2012, I have also taught a course for the Small Business Administration called "Emerging Leaders" that takes entrepreneurs through a 7 month course to create a strategic growth plan for their business. Over 90 businesses have participated in the course in Seattle.
