I'm lucky, pure and simple. I have a job that pays me to do what I would do anyway: tell the stories of Wisconsin people, companies and associations who matter to me. I first told stories in print, as a freelancer writing for lifestyle mags and trade pubs. I won a few awards and served a few stints as an editor. Then I served as director of communications for a terrific multimedia agency. Now, as president of the Cherry Street Agency, I write features and brand journalism, and promote projects and public relations campaigns for great clients -- people who fill my screen with new ideas and enthusiasm. And I collaborate with talented, hard-working associates who create something amazing every day, usually involving a stroke of genius. Life is good on Cherry Street!
