Knowledge and Information from whichever point of view; (scholarly or citizen)  is the engine that has driven  society  for as long as we have known. With several years of experience in Academic/research libraries and as a trained  librarian,I am enthusiastically and consistently furthering  the information agenda. My motivation is in simply seeing knowledge translated into positive impact . I have had the privilege of experiencing the schorlarly communication ecosystem from a broad sense; having worked as a technical Librarian ( Metadata specialist) as a user service librarian,  a trainer  (Information Literacy and research skills) , a Library manager and mostly recently supporting researchers towards Open Science as a Research Data Management  consultant. These roles have immersed me deep into the  knowledge melting  pot. I am an ardent advocate of Open Science  and a passionate enabler of digital/information Literacy. I consider myself a life long learner. Currently I am working with a wonderful team in ensuring that academic books are openly accessible, sustained by accessible infrastructure, clear and contextualised policies and mostly importantly, driven by ethical and open communities for a global good. I am looking to encourage a global outlook on how  Open Science can seamlessly be integrated  and absorbed into everyday life regardless of societal variances.
