Pathway to Living is one of the nation’s premier providers of independent senior apartments, supportive living and assisted living communities operating in multi-states.Supported our communities and organization by managing an array of HR matters including employee relations, onboarding, performance management, coaching, etc. Mitigated risk by responding to EEOC, OSHA and legal matters. Developed training programs and presented to leaders. Administered benefit programs, reviewed plan design and led open enrollment.

Ventas, an S&P 500 company and leading real estate investment trust (REIT), owns a diversified portfolio of seniors housing and healthcare properties. Partnered with CHRO/SVP HR upon acquisition of Lillibridge Healthcare Services to drive integration, consistency and common HR practices between the combined enterprise. Successfully managed employee relations and performance management by providing advice, recommendations and solutions to management and employees on an array of organizational and HR issues, including conducting thorough investigations. While at Ventas, the employee population grew nearly 70%.

Lillibridge was a privately held national REIT, providing medical office property management, leasing, facilities development and advisory services to highly rated hospitals and health systems, until being acquired by Ventas in 2010. Lillibridge then became a wholly owned subsidiary of Ventas.Led the human resources function for 250 employees in 25+ states. Responsibilities included recruiting and onboarding, compensation and benefits, compliance, performance management, employee relations, policies & procedures, employee engagement and training. Partnered with executives and management on organizational and HR matters. Led HR activities related to mergers and acquisitions. The organization grew from 50 employees to 250 during my tenure.
