Following training, together we set up and run Welcome Weekend, an elaborate few days designed to help incoming Freshman build relationship and feel at home. From there, we collaborate with a faculty member, in First Year Seminar classes, helping students to start off their college career successfully. Peer Advisors are a constant and welcoming resource for freshman, happy to offer whatever they may need.I also helped conduct interviews for the following set of Peer Advisors. I observed and communicated with faculty members regarding who had the best qualities to make a good Peer Advisor.
