Making messages matter (mhchadwick15@gmail.com)It is a privilege to initiate a communication role in any organization. I am grateful for the multiple opportunities I have had to join the leadership team for non-profit organizations, academic institutions, and government entities. My recent roles have expanded to include public affairs, event execution, campaign leadership, data management and donor stewardship. I strive to strategically and artfully craft messages for diverse audiences delivered through ever-changing channels that engage and educate. Despite the wide-range of variables to consider, I try to remain mindful that each person receiving a message does so uniquely--who is the person listening to a speech? Scanning social media? Opening an email message? Reading a letter or magazine? Or watching a video? I hold myself to an extremely high standard and thrive when working with others toward a common goal. I listen, I ask questions. I get the work done. Overcoming challenges, embracing technology, accomplishing organization goals, and building relationships are integral to my work ethic.
