For the 2024 fiscal year, submitted 37 proposals and raised over $3.8M for annual operating and capital needs and endowment support. Among the grants I wrote last year were five successful applications to brand-new funders. These first-time donations from foundations yielded $224,500 in new income for Williamson. In the last five years, I have raised over $20M for the College.

Responsible for managing and implementing all visitor evaluation to measure success for the institution, including front-end and summative studies for changing exhibitions. Supervise a staff of part-time data collectors, and oversee the work of outside firms to collect audience demographics and indicators of visitor learning and measure marketing impact. In 2011, designed and conducted year-long comprehensive evaluation of museum’s permanent exhibition. As a member of the museum's marketing team, worked closely with national firm on an institutional re-branding.

Exhibition development, including shaping interpretation, identifying and securing artifacts, writing and editing labels, and creating interactives. Winner, 2011 AAM Excellence in Exhibition Writing award as editor of label copy for "Art of the American Soldier."Visitor evaluation, including front-end and summative studies for exhibitions and marketing.Authored two chapters for AAM book, An Alliance of Spirit: School - Museum Partnerships, published Spring 2010.

Adjunct instructor for 3 credit graduate course Museum Audience, covering the basic skills of evaluation and visitor research. As part of the class, place and advise project teams of students to conduct evaluation at area museums.

Serve as member of NEH-funded panel advising Montpelier staff about the visitor experience. Assisted with planning for visitor survey about new interpretive elements in the mansion.

- Co-authored chapter "Kids and Collections" for Connecting Kids to History through Museum Exhibitions, published Spring 2010.-Educator for all changing exhibitions, reviewer of all exhibition label copy for visitor comprehension. Developed interactives & all interpretive materials, trained docents.- Led office of school and family programs, hired two key staff, and refocused offerings to better align with institutional mission.- Directed programming for family-friendly, literacy-based exhibition, and collaborated with key community partners on year-long roster of events. - Supervised in-house evaluator.- Member of planning team for Enchanted Woods children's garden.Worked with staff and contractors on installation of new feature.- Member of planning team for 2007 & 2008 spring displays of historic autos on museum grounds.- Chaired session at 2008 AAM annual meeting "The Learning Curve: Museums Producing Audio Tours."

- Educator for all exhibitions, editor of label copy for visitor comprehension, developed interactives and interpretive aids. Chaired session at 2006 Visitor Studies Association conference, "Family Guides: Do they work?"- Evaluator for all major exhibitions, developed and reviewed front-end, formative, tracking and summative evaluations. Co-presenter for full-day 2004 AAM annual meeting workshop, "Visitor Tracking: A Hands-on Primer."-Member, planning team for in-house production of iPod tours of Winterthur galleries. Developed interpretive outline and co-edited all drafts of first tour (featuring Leigh and Leslie Keno of Antiques Roadshow), which debuted November 2005.-Principal developer and liason with contract software developer and ceramics curator for computer interactive "Design a Plate."-Curator and interpretive developer for "Kid Stuff: Growing Up at Winterthur," a low-cost, thematic interactive history exhibition for families on view 2003 and 2005-2006. Winner, 2004 AAM award for Excellence in Exhibition writing for show's main text panels.

-Developed and taught on and off-site programs for PreK-12 school, scout, home-school, and special-needs audiences.-Developed, marketed, budgeted and directed summer history camp for children ages 8-12.
