My responsibilities include dealing with complaints from shoppers, providing accurate and easy to understand directions, helping tourists find their way around the city, promoting mall contests, assisting with online media and the HSC virtual closet.

My responsibilities were event planning specifically organizing all volunteers and coordinating jobs, set up, and take down for all events. I was also responsible for social media up keep including Facebook and twitter. I wrote all press materials associated with the foundation including print, online and television material. Print materials included press releases, articles, statements, advertising, fundraising and more. While working with the foundation I made several phone calls, updated donor lists and gave presentations in honor of big donors.

Membertou, Ns

My responsibilities were mainly all writing for Membertou First Nations. I was in charge of the bi-monthly newspaper, including graphic design, writing, placement and distribution. I also wrote articles to be used as fillers in the newspaper. I wrote press releases, media statements and journal articles for Membertou. While working there I became very skilled with InDesign, Photoshop, word, excel and other Adobe and Word programs. I created promotional materials for the PGA world golf tour and helped plan events such as the school raising ceremony.

My responsibilities included writing all print material which involved press releases, statements, speeches, articles, and responses. I was in charge of all social media upkeep for Facebook and Instagram. I was involved in doing research to pinpoint problems in the Automotive industry and how to fix them. This involved creating a survey and calling all automotive shops in Nova Scotia. During my time with the Council I was also involved with their program Test Drive, a program designed to give teenagers the opportunity to work in the Automotive industry and get a feel for it. I work with promotions and giving presentations at high schools with the test drive program manager.
