I grew up in a food loving family, I was cutting vegetables in the kitchen by the age of 3. My mother ran a catering company, by the age of 10 I was assisting in prep for gigs with over 1,250 expected attendees. At 16 I attended the Culinary Arts Program at the Thompson Rivers University. The culinary practicum location that was required was up to the students discretion; I choose to move to Edmonton A.B., to presume my practicum at the Cactus Club Café. At 18 I received my Retail Meat Cutting and Processing Certificate. I did my retail meat cutting practicums at the Sausage Factory in Smithers BC, and Posts Gourmet Meat Market in Merritt BC. I then worked at several restaurants over the last 5/6 years from pubs, casinos, home style dining, to my now current position at Swiss Pastries. I am in my second year of the Business Management Diploma at TRU, and expected to graduate in 2018. PS. I also love to play hockey, this year marks my 15th season! I have also played rugby for a combined total of 7 years, playing for teams such as the Kamloops Women's Raiders, the Burnaby Wave U18, and the Merritt Panthers.
