Hi! My name is Mary Kate Devine. I graduated from Saint Mary’s College in Notre Dame, IN with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). I also previously attended Bradley University in Peoria, IL in their nursing program. I have a Registered Professional Nurse License in the State of Illinois. I am currently a Pediatric Office/Triage Registered Nurse (RN) in the outpatient/ambulatory setting at Elmhurst Hospital, Center for Health in Elmhurst, IL (Endeavor Health). I previously worked as a Circulating/Perioperative RN in the Surgical Services Department in the operating room (OR) at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL (Endeavor Health). While working as a nurse in the OR, I specialized on the Open-Heart Surgical Team. I also previously worked as a Medical-Oncology RN in the inpatient setting at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL (Endeavor Health). I have learned so much from working as a nurse, such as solidifying my nursing skills, communicating with physicians and other hospital staff, and operating as a team with my coworkers. I am a certified basic life support (BLS) provider, CPR and AED, through the American Heart Association. I have a strong work ethic, as well as great organization and time management skills. I am looking forward to furthering my nursing career!
