- Worked on multiple COBOL programs to update logic & data fields across multiple business platforms for the company enterprise organization.- Made enhancements to CICS programs for new data elements passed down to updated web services. Intense coordination and communication with the web server group was needed to successfully complete project goals.- Updated DB2/COBOL programs to include new fields to be archived monthly in archival DB2 tables. This included writing a new DB2 program to handle data being passed and stored in a new table. This table was created to store captured data fields from insurance quotes in order to give better ratings for insureds.- Spent time working in an agile environment with C#, TFS, Visual Studio. This project work was needed to update data fields from numeric to alphanumeric for an increased number of enumerations. Project work included updating all data field definitions and all logic handling for the field across multiple internal tools and the external agent websites.- Worked on transformation projects to upgrade and enhance current mainframe applications to integrate with non-mainframe services outside the company. Utilized multiple skills, which included creating new .Net Core backend APIs, Mulesoft flows to integrate with Kafka topics and MQ updates to complete handshakes with mainframe copybooks.- Worked on a group planning committee to help brainstorm, plan & execute team events, which included 3 teams of close to 12 employees.

- Worked on independent website development efforts. Utilized this time to learn about Content Management Systems like WordPress and Ektron. Also spent time learning PHP and MySQL technologies.
