Revamped scientific conference coverage products to virtual formats in spring 2020, allowing AJMC to not only retain most business but increase revenue for this product line in 2020. In 2021, successfully launched Chief Healthcare Executive brand and guided revamp of Formulary Watch brand, which went from 30K to 100K monthly pageviews in 6 months. Handle speaker recruitment and panel prep for AJMC's premier annual oncology meeting, Patient-Centered Oncology Care, which has seen increased sponsorship. Provided specialty communications and public policy consulting services to New Jersey municipalities and small business clients. --Created e-newsletter for client with 60% open rate at end of contract.--Managed novel redevelopment declaration for contaminated parcel that attracted first Amazon distribution center to New Jersey. --Rapid-response work forced state officials to reverse budget language that that would have seized millions to replace trees in three towns after widening of the NJ Turnpike.--With associate, developed inventory of affordable housing records for Robbinsville Township, protecting town in litigation.

Robbinsville, N.J.

Managed $18.2 M budget and staff of 100 FTE. Oversaw Robbinsville's conversion from partisan, township committee to nonpartisan, strong mayor form of government. Left appointment with a Democratic state administration to work with a Republican mayor on calming political divisions, updating town's economic development policies, and working with allies in state and county government to protect open space. Oversaw takeover of local independent fire district, absorption of Municipal Utilities Authority, and town's name change from Washington Township to Robbinsville. Responsible for all press releases, publications, media relations and preparation of budget presentations. Launched creation of affordable housing inventory files, which later protected Robbinsville during builder's remedy lawsuits. Served on Planning Board and 12-member Joint Insurance Fund. Also served as Economic Development Coordinator from July 2009 to January 2010. Mayor was re-elected in 2009 with 63% of the vote and is now serving his fifth 4-year term.

Recruited by Governor's Office to overhaul agency's image after the chief of staff was arrested. Secured key media placements for agency projects and for Secretary Virginia Bauer, including two magazine covers. Part of New Jersey delegation to BIO 2005.

After giving the campaign of County Executive Brian Hughes a press lift in its final days, I was part of the transition in his administration's tough first months. After Hughes the candidate was not endorsed by either Trenton newspaper, seeing the February 2004 editorial "A good start"​ told me I'd made a difference.

Conceived and executed communications strategy to help pass historic 2003 regulatory reforms in auto insurance, saving this industry from near collapse. Reforms paved the way for entrance of GEICO and, Progressive, and prompted State Farm to cancel plans to leave the New Jersey auto insurance market. My work helped save the livelihoods of 500+ State Farm agents who would have lost their businesses. Also oversaw media relations for runoff of MIIX, state's largest malpractice carrier, and public education for onset of HIPAA.

Worked as a copy editor after birth of my second child. Previously worked at the paper as State House reporter covering energy deregulation, municipal aid programs, and public employee pension and benefit issues..

Part of Office of Communications team during Princeton's 250th anniversary celebration. Handled media relations during visits by President Clinton and Hillary Rodman Clinton, deadline announcements of faculty winning Nobel and Pulitzer Prizes, and the academic story of the men's basketball team that beat UCLA. Interviewed Suki Manabe and David Card about research that would win them Nobel Prizes in 2021.
