• Create enterprise architecture artifacts: These artifacts support new projects and updates to existing projects. Gathered requirements and wrote functional specifications for Ignite’s Content Delivery System. Ignite's product suite is comprised of intuitive, workflow-driven applications and networking technologies that enable companies to securely manage the entire lifecycle of digital media publishing, delivery and usage. These applications are provided as SaaS applications.Wrote the functional specification for Ignite’s MediaPlace (iPad and Android applications). Managed off-shore development team for delivery of the initial release of Ignite’s MediaPlace iPad application. Provided daily communication and guidance to the off-shore team. Also managed the beta release of Android MediaPlace. Worked with local development team to define the method specs for the web services that were used by both the iPad and Android developers.Developed high level architecture which allowed for re-use of components between Ignite’s products. Provided detailed architectural requirements to Engineering Platform team for Peer Detection and Peer Selection—the first candidate reusable components.Designed multiple third-party integrations including integrating the following with Ignite’s Content Delivery Portal: a third-party video editor application, a third-party self-cast application, a third-party transcoding application, a third-party streaming platform for live events and instant view, a third-party satellite company, and a third-party application that supports searching within video/audio content for spoken terms. Also designed integrations for other content management systems (Learning Management Systems, online video platforms, etc.) to ingest content into Ignite’s Content Delivery System. Designed integration for customers’ LDAP/Active Directory as a means of restricting access to content in Ignite’s portal.Reviewed and provided feedback on developer artifacts and logical data model.

Led team of requirements analysts for what was to become Oracle's Unified Inventory Management™ (UIM). This team included Oracle U.S. employees and off-shore requirements analysts. Used Reqpro extensively.Worked various technology scenarios through the class/object model for UIM.Was an Oracle representative to TeleManagement Forum (TMF) and provided class model contributions to the Shared Information/Data (SID) model team and the mTOP – Resource Management team.

Was a founding member of MetaSolv Software (third employee). MetaSolv produced an industry- leading OSS (Operations Support System). MetaSolv's inventory management and service fulfillment solution is in use by more than 70 Communication Service Providers worldwide. MetaSolv was acquired by Oracle in 2007 for over $200 million.Was the lead requirements analyst for Subscriber and Service Management™ (S&SM) – the beta product which became Oracle's UIM product. Worked with Shanghai telecommunications customer to capture requirements. Wrote a large number of use cases to document proposed S&SM functionality.Was heavily involved in the design of the class model (using Rational Rose) for the telecom Inventory system.Led requirements team for a large project for a North American wireless customer that resulted in MetaSolv’s M6™ Product.
