After years of creating connections between people who need to meet one another, I've learned this about solving the world's biggest challenges: It's the action of building genuine and purposeful relationships that is the changemaker. It's that act that makes the difference, and I see it as a mandate. As an independent professional business development consultant, I make introductions, orchestrating opportunities in many diverse spaces for companies, innovators, governments, and NGOs connecting them to resources, partnerships, trade deals, and funding solutions in econ dev, healthcare, tech, commodities, and real estate. I've been professionally and passionately conducting this work over the course of about 18 years supported by a work history spiritually designed to prepare me to do so in order to create positive impact. My background includes working media on a NC Gov's Press Staff (my first job at 19). Later, I programmed professional visits for int'l dignitaries in the tech hub of RTP with the opportunity to develop key relationships with global leaders at my dinner table. I eventually filled a role as a community leader directing the Chamber of Commerce next to the world's largest Marine Corps Air Station working arm-in-arm with commanding officers to secure the region's most significant economic engine. Great training ground for the work of today, developing purposeful global relationships and envisioning/activating opportunities within my large and diverse Frontrunners Community -- the network I've curated into my best business development asset.
