    Right after college, I moved to the border of the St. Genis-Pouilly, France; and Geneva, Switzerland. I hung out with a ridiculous number of physicists, learned to appreciate wine and the French baguette, stumbled my way through the French language, and worked on a Master's degree. Quite simply, spending so much time out of the U.S. at such a young age is the reason I'm the world-traveled, open-minded, independent woman that I am now. If you speak to me in French, I might panic or I might speak French back...depends on my mood. Oh, and I also brought home my two amazing guinea pigs (aka the munchkins) who have now traveled from Switzerland to Florida to Georgia to Chicago to Seattle. And yes, flying guinea pigs costs the same as flying a human being.
