I am driven by the belief that beauty will save the world. I’ve committed mylife to the experiential arts, deeply understanding the transformative power of intentionally designed experiences of pause and play. Under my artist monicker, Annu, I create immersive audio-visual experiences that explore how technology can enhance human expression, creativity, and connection. I compose and perform with my music gloves and experimental synthesizers that control both the audio and visual aspects of my live performances.I have designed, from concept to production, immersive installations that tour the world, and I’ve developed successful artist-in-residency programs and experience activations for a worldwide chain of eco-hotels. In addition to producing albums and touring immersive experiences, I have run a series of engaging talks and hands-on workshops, sharing my passion for music technology and offering audiences the tools, resources, and inspiration to pursue the technology that allows them to enhance their own vital human expressions.Annu is a trademark of Annu LLC

As Mission Director at Everyday Astronaut, I produce large-scale events and work with our incredible team to produce rocket launch live streams and educational spaceflight videos. Our mission is to bring space down to Earth for everyday people. To celebrate and lift up those who are helping humanity explore the world we live in and our place amongst the stars. We believe the best way to get people excited about space exploration is through education. By breaking down complex topics, it helps give some perspective and insight into the decisions made every day through the industry. We help remove the barriers of intimidating subject matter to help foster an excited public to cheer on those who are pushing the boundaries and help inspire future generations. The point is, rocket science is awesome, and you don’t need to be a rocket scientist to be excited.

I co-founded Cosmic Perspective with my partner, Ryan Chylinski, to share the awe and wonder of spacethrough films and immersive experiences. We’ve spent years building our international community and our incredibly talented team of artists. Since 2018, we have shared our discussions with astronauts, scientists, and the people sending missions to space while documenting hundreds of rocket launches with our cinema and VR cameras and custom-built microphones.We’re driven and reverent for this work: To inspire hope and excitement for the future, unify the world through awe and wonder, and to archive for history what it is like to live in this time as humanity takes its first steps towards becoming a multi-planetary species.

Since 2013, I've written, recorded, and performed music with two amazing humans: Kevin Ratterman and Lacey Guthrie. We've toured the U.S. several times over with some of the most incredible friends and talented musicians: My Morning Jacket, Jim James (also serving as his back-up band), Conor Oberst, Houndmouth, Strand of Oaks, Basia Bulat, and more. It was during our performances at music festivals (Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits, Shaky Knees, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass, Okeechoobee Music Festival, and Forecastle) that I discovered the power of people coming together, open to new experiences. This work led me to experiential design for big stage productions and immersive experiences.

As Associate Producer of Planetary Radio, I was honored to assist host Mat Kaplan in publishing one of the world's most influential space podcasts. As Digital Content Coordinator, I produced and disseminated the tools and information needed to pave the way for the future of space exploration: publishing space journalism articles, developing marketing strategies, web development, publishing digital communications, and elevating the scientific voices making great strides in Cosmic exploration.“The surface of the Earth is the shore of the cosmic ocean.
