Molly manages and shepherds an average caseload of 140 H-1B petitions through their lifecycle of initiation to filing as an Immigration Analyst (Assistant Paralegal). During the busy cap H-1B season, Molly and her team successfully filed +1,100 petitions with USCIS.

- Prepare motions for summary judgement- Research and memoranda/document preparation on various international legal issues by gathering information on issues targeting marginalized people, such as civil wars and genocide- Handle confidential information and provide analytical expertise and insights- Improve operational efficiency by developing functional data systems with other civil rights colleagues by using cloud-based platforms such as Dropbox and Trello- Apply problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to maturely address urgent situations and collaborate with colleagues

Law Library at the Library of Congress - Used knowledge of Arab culture, history, and Arabic fluency to summarize Arab news with cultural sensitivity- Researched original sources in Arabic to interpret and summarize legal issues and foreign laws for the U.S. federal government- Provided briefings to supervisor in Arabic and English on laws in the Arab region- Researched and wrote an article about gender-based violence in West Bank and anti-corruption courts in Mauritania- Applied Arabic language skills to evaluate information in Arabic needed by the government of Dubai through the U.S. embassyPosition Summary: Molly conducts research on foreign legal issues and laws at the Global Legal Research Directorate at the Law Library at the Library of Congress. Her work contributes to reports commissioned by members of Congress and used by U.S. government officials and foreign legal scholars.

Office of Residential Life- Facilitated development of a respectful, positive and diverse residential learning community by planning logistics of monthly events to meet community’s needs, such as professional and personal development programs- Planned logistics and executed programs for 100+ residents and budgets of ~$1000 with campus offices- Managed 50-60 residents, connected them with campus resources, and acted as an administrator

Community Engagement Internship- Worked abroad in Jordan and familiarized myself with national laws regarding women’s rights - Researched legal issues, edited documents, coordinated reports, and briefed staff members in Arabic and English- Drafted detailed grant proposals, internal and external reports, and translated documents in Arabic and English within deadlines- Managed and organized documents to improve office efficiency and assisted with mentoring program for female lawyers
