I concentrate my practice in complex litigation with a primary emphasis on defending medical negligence and personal injury cases. I have trial and appellate experience as both lead attorney and second chair. I also have extensive experience in drafting jury instructions and handling related court conferences in many areas of civil litigation. I represent physicians, pharmacists, and other professionals before the Missouri State Boards.In addition to representing numerous clients in mediation, I am trained to serve as a mediator for state. I have completed the Mediation Training for Civil Cases at the Center for the Study of Dispute Resolution at the University of Missouri School of Law and am Rule 17 qualified in Missouri.

As a Board member, I participate in fund raising for the organization, attend meetings at which issues relating to the future of the organization are discussed and planned. I also act as an informal ambassador for the organization to spread the word about the services which the Cancer Support Community offers to cancer patients and their families/support network. I participate in meetings at which planning and policy issues for the Parks are addressed. The Parks Commission is an advisory Board not a governing Board. In the past my roles have included serving as president of the Board and chair of the Strategic Plan Committee.

As a Board Member I participate in meetings and planning for the organization. As the Chair of the Diversity Committee, I am charge with establishing the committee and moving forward to make it an active contributor to MODL activities.
