I have had two full time careers in my working experience. The first as a secretary/admin. assistant in the State Dept. in Washington, D.C.; in a law firm in San Francisco, as Secretary to the Director of Scripps Institution of Oceanography; as administrative assistant to a San Diego City councilwoman and secretary to the Founder of Jack in the Box. I realized that I wanted to expand my horizons and went back to school finishing with a B.S. In occupational therapy from USC. After that I worked for 18+ years as an Occupational therapist with vast experience on a rehab unit at Grossmont Hospital. I later became certified as a Lymphedema Therapist and had my own clinic at Grossmont working with breast cancer patients and patients with lymphedema in their legs. I am currently retired as a therapist and have begun a career in health and nutrition.
