Directly responsible to the Director of Operations. This is was key role in providing project management support to a significant project as part of the Tribunals Reform agenda in Scotland. This involved the creation of a new Social Security Chamber as part of the wider restructuring of tribunals in Scotland. This new jurisdiction will manage appeals on welfare benefits being devolved to the Scottish Government from October 2018. Key deliverables included:Creation of an overall Tribunals Reform Programme of work with 7 separate projects (relating to devolved legislation)Established the Tribunals Reform Programme Board, working with the SRO and external stakeholders, internal project managers and project teams to ensure an effective delivery programme.Established a payment system for expenses (to claimants)Worked with a wide range of external stakeholders including Scottish and UK Government Officials, Ombudsman, Judiciary, subject matter experts and 3rd sector representatives.
