Mary Mulloy is a licensed attorney, experienced international and U.S. compliance and ethics professional, and a volunteer advocate for foster and adopted children and families. Mary has a strong background in both corporate and nonprofit legal matters. In her corporate career Mary worked as a corporate staff attorney and regulatory compliance attorney in the insurance industry. Later Mary was a Compliance Officer in the international operations of two different insurance companies where she directed teams in mitigating corporate and industry compliance and ethics risks. In a significant career change, Mary next became a legal aid attorney working as the Project Attorney for a medical-legal partnership developed by a local Children's Hospital. In that role Mary gave general legal advice and provided legal representation to the families of children who were patients at the hospital and its clinics. Recently, Mary has acted as a compliance and ethics consultant to a growing law practice, a business development organization, a local Home Owners Association. and area nonprofit organizations. A significant portion of the work for these organizations has involved developing new or reviewing and enhancing corporate governance documents. When time allows Mary volunteers with different nonprofits around issues pertaining to foster and adopted children.
