As a dedicated member of the Operations Enablement Team at ABSA, I serve as an Epic Owner, playing a pivotal role in one of our most significant initiatives - the implementation of the Salesforce project. Our primary focus is on enhancing the colleague experience within the bank, with the overarching goal of delivering exceptional customer service across diverse channels.In my role, I work closely with stakeholders, product managers, and the Agile development team to define, prioritize, and manage epics within our project backlog. By aligning our efforts with the bank's strategic objectives, we aim to streamline operations and improve efficiency, ultimately enhancing the overall customer experience.Through effective communication and collaboration, I ensure that each epic is well-defined, feasible, and aligned with our product vision. I prioritize epics based on their business value, market demand, and technical dependencies, making informed decisions to drive the project forward.I oversee the breakdown of epics into actionable user stories, collaborating with the team to maintain coherence and value while ensuring alignment with acceptance criteria. Throughout the project lifecycle, I track progress, identify and mitigate risks, and provide regular updates to stakeholders, fostering transparency and accountability.In our pursuit of continuous improvement, I actively seek feedback and insights to optimize our processes and empower the team. Spearheading comprehensive project management and business system oversight across multiple product platforms. Orchestrating operational support, infrastructure implementation, and procurement management for seamless project execution. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient project operations from a holistic perspective. Managing, analysing, constructing, and implementing system solutions and integrated hardware across product platforms. Expanding and enriching the Power Bank Rental Network and Access Control system through progressive stages of growth and refinement. Notable Projects:Power Bank Rental Network Expansion: Played a pivotal role in expanding and optimising the Power Bank Rental Network, enhancing service accessibility and user experience. Access Control System Enhancement: Drove the development and growth of the Access Control system, accommodating evolving needs and bolstering security measures.

In this position, I was responsible for business system designs. I have been responsible for leading the creation of several critical systems and processes. Among these, I was tasked with designing and developing the requirements for the Early Childhood Development Application, Reporting Portal and Scaling Strategies on various pilots.As a business system designer, I was responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of the ECD App, from initial design to successful implementation on the FNB platform. Throughout this process, I worked closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the App aligned with internal and external systems, enabling the most efficient business and systems processes promptly and efficiently.In cases where systems still needed to be developed or were still in progress, I also implemented manual strategies to ensure that business needs were met promptly and efficiently. As a result of my efforts, I successfully launched Phases 1 and 2 of the ECD App, contributing to its overall success.

In this position, my responsibilities included assisting with all planning and administrative tasks to ensure the successful management and implementation of programmes. I further assisted business analysts with creating solutions for DebiCheck to suit the various product houses in FNB. I subsequently completed the implementation of NCAA Programme at FNB across different product houses.

In this position have been tasked with leading the design, development, and implementation of the Fund Management System, taking into consideration integration with internal and external systems. This has required me to work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the system meets the needs of all stakeholders, from end-users to executive management.I have demonstrated a commitment to ensuring efficient business and systems processes, particularly in cases where systems still need to be developed or are still in progress. In doing so, I have leveraged my expertise to assist with efficient manual interventions and optimise requirements and system development.

I assisted with project management duties as well as overseeing and performing administrative functions concerned with various projects. My responsibilities included coordinating meetings, taking minutes and organising venues as well as planning projects, updating project calendars, and creating PowerPoint presentations. I loyally served as a positive and enthusiastic team player. During this time, the SETA Finance Systems and SAGE X3 System for the National Department of Public Works were implemented.

I was appointed as a Project Administrator, but my responsibilities were not limited to that of a typical Project Administrator. I was primarily assigned to Barclays Africa, and my responsibilities include the following: Operational support inclusive of providing first-line support and troubleshooting, performing root cause analysis and communicating remediation steps and management and maintenance of user access and security controls. Testing whereby I coordinated all testing related activities. Change management processes and production releases. Training inclusive of the compilation of training manuals and conducting necessary training on a national and international scale throughout Africa. Application migration. System design, implementation and planning.

I provided superior customer service to clients by addressing all questions and concerns and managed a variety of internal communications. I was required to function with flexibility and agility and was tasked to promote a positive public image for the company and further worked to control the dissemination of information. In this role, I served as a friendly, hardworking, and punctual employee who organised and prioritised work to complete assignments in a timely, efficient manner.
