I test web, desktop and mobile applications using various test techniques. I report defects and queries, participate in defect fixes verifications. Communication is restricted to the QA Team and Manager groups. Here I learn how to be very flexible and what it means working with different remote teams on each new project that appear daily or weekly, how to be quick and still concentrated, how to keep on track with the on-the-fly changing requirements and how to resolve misunderstandings that are inevitable in such circumstances.

Organized and lead QA processes at the agile (scrum) project. Created long term and short term test plans.For example, produced and presented a QA Department long-term development plan that entailed short term QA goals set for the upcoming quarters. Started to follow the plan effectively reaching the goals in time alongside with not planned additions that were highly appreciated.Introduced QA reporting such as Daily Status, Final Status, Defect Aging Reports that helped Development team to better understand the current status and QA activities, fix issues in time. Worked closer with Developers to prevent issues – analyzed requirements and created test cases in advance that made many questions (to DEVs) arise which contributed to better code; asked DEV demos be scheduled for QA team prior to feature delivery that often ended in bugs being identified at that stage, etc.Created QA docs of all types including manuals to be used by QA team for more effective testing, reporting, bug triage, understanding of the processes and models implemented on the Project. Started to create test cases and sets (acceptance, smoke, regression, functional) in VersionOne tool and generate reports to have a clear vision of the Sprint status.Reported defects to the same tool and processed them there, notifying Developers in a separate email on the defects found in current Sprint, their priority, status and added QA comments.Participated in meetings like daily standups, planning, grooming sessions and retrospectives where presented test estimations, reviewed acceptance criteria,discussed epics, stories and tasks sharing personal view or asking questions where acceptable.Tested web, mobile and desktop applications (UI and backend),verified fixes triaged production defects, proposed changes where I believed it to be important for end-user’s good experience;communicated with many teams; actively used MS SharePoint for data storage, search, retrieval as well as MS OneDrive.

Key member of project team as the lead QA tester. Supervised software QA testing team in developing and implementing quality-assurance and quality-control methodologies to ensure compliance with QA standards, federal regulations and customer specifications. Created and executed software test plans, estimates, schedules, cases and scripts to uncover, identify and document software problems and their causes. - I was assigned to a new customization as the lead tester. Started from scratch – analyzed project documentation, communicated with the teams (development, solution, test) and customer, created all the related test docs, assigned tasks to the test team members, assessed risks and communicated project status to the management;- Later I became the core lead tester on the whole project supervising customizations;- There was a try to introduce automation testing on the project – learnt Selenium tool and attended several courses. Executed tests and communicated results;- Started to manage a test team.
