Currently employed as a contract medical consultant, Mary Pat Higley spent the first years of her career as a pharmacist in California. She earned a doctor of pharmacy from the University of California, San Francisco, and an MBA from Pepperdine University School of Busiiness, employed as a clinical pharmacist and as a clinical research associate in pharma and medical device firms. In clinical research and as a medical liaison for sales/marketing, Higley also took on a variety of additional jobs to bolster her career and expand her project management skills. Furthermore, she worked as a consultant pharmacist for the Pharmacy Corporation of America and held clinical pharmacist positions at a number of other health care institutions.
