Marketing & Events Coordinator

Managing all aspects of the three VIP Gala evening parties for the 2022 festival. Coordinating volunteer crews, arranging food and drink vendors, booking entertainment, theme decoration coordination, and more. Handling each evenings patron and VIP needs.

Freelance social media manager for various businesses in Sonoma County. Businesses include: Marguerita Castanera, Realtor, Century 21 Epic Wine Country; Lot-O-Loops; Emily’s Collective; Beltlyft and other local music bands. Tasks include: Posting on various social media platforms, weekly newsletters, and website product marketing.

Currently booking, coordinating and scheduling entertainment at local farmers market. Booking bands and working with music venues. Marketing communication and outreach advertising to the community for events. Coordinating equipment and sound resources. Former Retail music store owner; Customer, vendor and community relations. Ordering, budgeting, accounts payable and receivable, and event organization for music entertainment. We served as the box office for Sonoma Jazz+ concerts for 7 years. We also booked and hosted the local Songwriters in Sonoma series.

Assistant to the top Agent at Sotheby’s who’s transactions led to being #11 Agent in the United States for the company, #123 overall in the US according to the Wall Street Journal, and top 40 in California. Handling 90-100 transactions per year, liaison and communication with buyers and sellers, and marketing in both print and digital Media. Daily executive assistant tasks such as property feedback with industry Agent professionals, scheduling home inspections, photography, home tours and open houses.

Managing digital and print advertising for The Sonoma Magazine, Sonoma Index Tribune, Press Democrat and the Petaluma Argus Courier. Coordinating between the Ad/Sales Rep, internal design team, digital operations team and our client base to maximize the best campaign for their businesses. Handling scheduling in all publications, securing payments and navigating creative through our internal processes.

Coordinating and scheduling over 150 volunteers for yearly 3 & 4 day concerts to benefit local school music programs. Plot coordination of concert site, daily calendar scheduling with moment by moment flexibility and on the spot changes. Speaking at group prep meetings with all volunteers and Jazz+ management. Acts include but not limited to Bonnie Raitt, Diana Krall, Tony Bennett, BB King, Steve Miller, Neville Brothers, Crosby Stills & Nash, & Elvis Costello. Staffed by Sonoma Jazz +.

Post Supervisor for feature and commercial clients. Tracking and organizing all job assets to make sure they flow through facility in a timely manner according to studio deadlines. Digital Capture, I/O and data input for daily shot list on proprietary shot logging system. Liaison between Producer, Editor, Computer Graphics department and other staff to process and complete all jobs.

Managing and training editors and organizing edit room schedules. Managing a department of 10-15 employees. Hiring staff and freelance employees as job demands. Training, budgeting, future facility expansion planning, & leading weekly department meetings. Film credits include Day After Tomorrow and Hellboy, among others.

In a PTO funded position; Coordinated all community resources including business donors, event sponsors, and parent volunteers. Created a database for all resources so the board members and event planners could easily research the needs of their event.

Final finishing editor for Commercial editorial. Final shot compilations, audio laybacks, legals, broadcast packaging, etc. Working on systems such as Avid, Final Cut Pro, Edit Box, and CMX. Multi-format experience. Worked with ad agencies and their commercial clients. Digital Editor for remake of Star Wars, A Lost Hope. Rough cut editor for film sequences and commercial edits.On screen film credits include Speed 2, Casper, Radioland Murders, Mouth of Madness, & more. Speaking and recruiting in front of large groups about working in Special Effects.

Machine control room supervisor for multiple online and offline edit suites, Henry/Harry graphic suites, and film transfer room. Working and scheduling MCR operators to meet client needs and final delivery deadlines for all transfers, layoffs, dubs, etc. Multi-format tape machine experience.

Assisted main edit room editor for all machine room support and client relations. Tape transfers, dubs, job preparation and element organization. Worked on various commercial, industrial and corporate videos. Multi-format tape machine experience. Prior to that I was the Production Coordinator for all remote video shoots, coordinating call times, locations, and hiring all crew members within the budget.
