For 3 months my family and I lived on a 72-acre property as a part of a greater invitation from the founders of a monasterium in North California, to be the first family in resident to live on the land, care for the animals, hosting and connecting visitors seeking a deeper walk with God, becoming members of a faith community by participating and facilitating a daily office of liturgy and prayer. In this time, we fell in love with creation, seasons, and the gift economy, developed neighborly relationships. The place and people left an imprint on our family and deepened our longing for more of life in the faith.Since then, we sojourned in Asia without a physical, permanent home. I have since grown as an artist and writer, and long to find a home for my family where we can let the roots grow and let our souls flourish again.My joy is to follow creatives in their journeys and discover our common grounds and what resonates. I had the privilege of designing a set of artwork as covers of notebooks by subject for homeschool families.

I experienced tremendous personal growth through living communally and living more creatively as a mom, wife and disciple of Jesus. Serving really has been a way to say thank you to what I have received from people around me who diligently sought the best interests of others. YWAM San Francisco gifted us as a family with 4 small children with their abundant generosity and generative modeling of humility in all they do. I specifically served in the hospitality department where I learned from mentors who came before me and stewarded this resource faithfully. I re-launched the department after COVID and oversaw the implementation of policies and procedures of having guests stay in hospitality rooms short-term, creating small measures to ensure their comfort and safety. I also oversaw, with the help of many others, including staff, my husband and kids, the cleaning up of each room, laundry and supplies, taking inventory periodically, and connecting with guests in generating meaningful moments in their visit to our ministry base and to the city of San Francisco.
