As the Owner, Producer, and Director of maryskinnermedia.org for over 19 years, I create and distribute documentary, educational, and corporate digital media that showcase the resilience, courage, and hope of people facing adversity and injustice. My mission is to tell compelling stories that inspire diverse audiences and promote social change.I have produced, written, and directed several acclaimed documentaries, including Irena Sendler In the Name of Their Mothers, which won a Gracie Award and the UK Jewish Film Festival Audience Award, and was broadcast nationwide on PBS. I developed and implemented strategic marketing plans, content, and scripts for various clients, including TIAA-CREF, Enterprise Ireland, and Wells Fargo, using my skills in new media, creative direction, and marketing communications. I write and produce media to support non-profit organizations, such as TeachAIDS. As a librettist I have created a new musical based on my film about Irena Sendler. As a consulting producer I help independent filmmakers to raise funding, create storylines, and produce and edit films about important social issues. As a writer I leverage my domain expertise in human rights, social change, and Polish and Jewish history to create screenplays, podcasts and other works of fiction and non-fiction.
