Mary Staten is an Orinda native since 1976. After attending schools from The Orinda Preschool (TOPS) thru Miramonte High School, Mary chose the University of California at Davis for her undergraduate studies and graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with an emphasis on Law. After graduation, Mary returned to her roots, the Lamorinda area, to begin the journey of employee to owner, purchasing the Papyrus franchise located in Lafayette in 1999. Mary's ability to listen to her clients’ needs and produce custom, high quality products reflecting their personal expression helped make Mary a successful business owner for 13 years.After taking some time to be with her family, Mary chose to enter the real estate community as a realtor focusing in Lamorinda the home she loves and knows well. Mary has a unique perspective and understanding of the local areas and schools as her own children attend elementary and middle schools in Lafayette. The real estate community is a natural fit for Mary combining her professionalism and desire to connect with clients making their lifestyle and home dreams a reality.
