As executive director for BOO, Inc., I am a member of the Board of Directors and serve as liaison between the operations and fiscal teams as well as providing oversight and leadership to the overall organization. This is a part time, volunteer position that coordinates multiple community events and fundraisers throughout the year. After the closure of the ambulance station located in Wysox, PA., the social group re-formed under a new business identity with a new board of directors and mission. In addition, I am responsible for the day to day operations, including oversight of nearly 75 volunteers. I also serve as the public information officer, web master, marketing director, and social media manager.

This professional social service position is assigned to Bradford County Government and serves in conjunction with Bradford/Sullivan County MH/ID and D&A Program. This individual will develop considerable expertise in all aspects of housing, will interface with clients, caseworkers, provider agencies and individuals from housing authorities/corporations, developers, and landlords in Bradford/Sullivan Counties. Additionally, this position will be responsible for overseeing the Local Lead Agency Program and act as the single point of contact for Housing Developments that have designated units as Permanent Supportive Housing, track units and facilitate referrals, work with Stakeholders to conduct outreach to potential tenants, and work with property managers and other service providers to ensure tenant can retain housing. This position is responsible for providing leadership in the area of accessing integrated housing for persons with mental illness, monitoring individuals involved in receiving housing assistance, applying for and oversight of grant funded housing programs, and for developing collaborative relationships with community Agencies, Providers and Landlords in Bradford/Sullivan Counties. This 40 hour a week position is supervised by the MH/ID Administrator.

Research, coordination, and dissemination of training information to HOPS and other organizations. Instruct healthcare providers and the general public in American Heart CPR (Heartsaver & Healthcare Provider levels) and First Aid. Locate financial resources to fund educational projects and training for corps members. Instruct corps members in safe emergency vehicle operations as a Department of Health BLS instructor. Coach other corps members in routine call procedures from safe response, patient care, to completion of documentation.

Provide quality patient care in the pre-hospital setting in a range of situations. Maintain current knowledge of protocols and best practices and utilize skills appropriately in the pre-hospital emergency setting.

Plan and coordinate a comprehensive program that includes social and wellness activities while incorporating activities of daily living. Provide support to residents in overcoming barriers to participation in social, wellness, and daily living activities. Serve on the leadership team, including finding ways to incorporate resident feedback into both the activities program and overall residential care, leading facility staff in providing support to residents to support engagement in activities. Coordinate with community resources to develop new and innovative programs. Provide support to administration as needed.
