Division Environmental Manager
Current- Manage environmental permitting activities throughout the site development process for construction projects including: Identification and completion of required environmental permit applications, communication with State and local agencies, review of environmental consultant contracts, organization and oversight of required on-site documentation, site inspections to ensure compliance, continued training for project managers and construction managers, serve as site representative for inspections from federal, state, and local agencies- Supervise the work of environmental consultants, project managers, and construction managers ensuring adherence to best practices and reviewing the quality of documentation.- Manage the preparation of permits for compliance with the Clean Water Act including Construction Stormwater General permits, Section 404 Water Quality Permits, and other state and local environmental permits.- Collaborate with project managers and environmental consultants to implement best practices that mitigate environmental impacts and maintain adherence to air and water quality standards. - Establish and maintain effective relationships and consistent communication with project managers, consultants, sub-contractors, agencies, and other key stakeholders.- Manage continuous improvement of training material and administer training for associates regarding the permitting process, compliance standards, best management practices, and document management.- Consistent record of positive feedback from both internal audits and external inspections by the Washington State Department of Ecology and the EPA.
