I am semi-retired now, working "casually" for Ebenezer and looking forward to writing and other projects outside of my "casual" work commitments. I am not retiring ever from my interest and passion for excellence in dementia care!I work to make training interactive and memorable. I bring a fierce belief in the power of creativity and teamwork up to the plate with me every time the ball is thrown. I enjoy participating in dreams becoming reality. Then I was promoted to Resident Services Director, In all three jobs, I was always most captivated by the joyful and ever-challenging process of keeping residents with significant memory loss happy, engaged, and in touch with what they most value. For many years I was responsible for providing dementia care training to new employees. I created and delivered inservices to all staff members who interact with dementia residents.
