Led multi-million dollar operation with an expense and capital budget responsibility for fully-integrated ambulatory services including Growth Strategy, Community Expansion Projects, Process Improvement, Patient Satisfaction and Quality, Revenue Cycle, Patient Call Center, Way Finding, and Staffing with 2500 employees at 26 health centers. Committees include: Enterprise Executive for Radiation Safety | Board Member, Patient Experience | Board Member, Finance | Member, Executive & IS Governance Team | Member, Bioinformatics Team | Executive Operations Sponsor for My Chart & Virtual Health. Acting COO in absence of EVP / COO. • Spearheaded growth and efficiency strategy incorporating Patient Access, Community Outreach, Operational Excellence, and Physician Relations for Ambulatory Services. Plan and results include: Directed operations of ambulatory site enterprise growing visits from 550,000 to 1.1 million delivering multi-million dollar contribution margin. Generated positive revenue stream and served 100,000+ patients by developing and expanding retail and mobile medical sites. Improved customer service in Call Center by reducing abandonment rate 35% to 8%. Executed design and build for 8 new sites including architectural design, construction, vendor selection, capital equipment, recruitment of professional and ancillary staff, training, and marketing.• Developed strategy and integrated Virtual eHealth Services. Results include: Increased patient throughput 10%. Generated $8 million in revenues by leading implementation of My Chart. Achieved Meaningful Use over 3 years. Implemented video visit (thru My Chart) for Behavioral Health providers. • First in the nation to install Electronic Medical Record System, EPIC, at correctional facility by partnering with County Sheriff & County Council. Reduced duplication of services and medications for inmates that were existing patients of MetroHealth.• Developed a consolidation strategy.

Recruited to develop and lead a growth strategy for specialty care services during system transitioning from an Academic structure to Patient Care Unit’s. Oversaw Supply Chain, Revenue Cycle, Staff Ratios, Work Flows, Length of Stay, and Patient Access, Patient Satisfaction, and Quality at 17 ambulatory health centers through 1200 associates. Member of system-wide Radiation Safety Committee. • Grew net revenues threefold by leading growth strategies. Increased patient throughput, charge capture, expanded services, and increased staff from 550 to 1200 professionals across 14 divisions. • Developed expansion strategy growing from 11 to 17 community health centers.• Increased Cancer Center’s net revenue millions of dollars through contract renegotiation and improved charge capture as well recovered lost revenue in Radiation Oncology through retooling revenue cycle’s electronic code capture process.• Reduced millions of dollars in operating expenses by launching 78 new clinical and administrative cost saving and process improvement initiatives.• Executive Sponsor & Project Manager for ACCESS, an operational efficiencies initiative improving patient access.  Improved patient volumes at 11 sites from 6% to 34% through scheduling process and IT tools. Reduced $5 million in spend by managing the Operations Excellence Initiative - Office of Transformation. Directed supply chain improvement project and re-engineered supply chain process. Created the Ambulatory Academy, training 1500 employees, and established a team of Administrative Fellows and Nurse Leads to sustain the training. Upgraded employee skill levels, efficiencies and work flows resulting in patient experience improvement. Monitored improvement through quarterly reviews, action plans, and training.• Developed a one year MBA Administrative Fellowship program with Cleveland State University.

Held dual role responsibility simultaneously. As Director of Satellite Operations, responsible for the strategy, design, development and operations for main campus and 5 new cancer centers. Liaison for Abu Dhabi cancer program site planning. As Director for Professional Services responsible for joint ventures and contractual services for 11 sites across Ohio and Florida. Managed 200-400 professionals in Cleveland Clinic Health System radiation oncology network.• Successfully directed a $130 million clinical operation, maintaining a $36 million contribution margin during tenure through innovation and continuing process improvement. • Fiscally & operationally accountable for the expansion of the new sites, including architectural designs specific to radiation shielding, construction, design, development, vendor selection and negotiations, capital equipment and recruitment of professional and ancillary personnel, training & marketing. • Integrated revenue cycle, charge capture, research protocols (RTOG) into regional and out of state facilities. • Executive sponsor leading oncology’s patient and employee engagement program, The Studer Group “Bright Ideas.”• Defined the financial planning, analysis and forecasting, including a 5 year strategic $35 million capital equipment budget to insure state of the art treatment delivery would be maintained.• Collaborated with CEO and CFO of partnering facilities developing business models and care delivery systems.• Developed a home to treatment to home van service for radiation patients. Consisted of a 6 van fleet and covered a 50-mile radius of downtown oncology center. • Negotiated multi-million dollar contractual agreements for services, equipment and personnel. Increased growth on average 7% annually through the direct expansion of market and market share on a local, national and international basis as it relates to Radiation Oncology services.
