Utilizing Lean 6 Sigma continuous improvement methodology, adapted for non-manufacturing industries, Park Place Business Improvement Strategies works through cross-functional teams to identify and solve business problems in the areas of Operations, Business Development and Marketing so that customers are delighted and the organization is prospering. We also employ proven Change Management techniques to ensure that the improvements are lasting and sustainable.

As the EVP of Ops and Business Development, I coordinated the strategic activities of the Operations, Sales and Marketing departments. As a team, we collaborated on implementing our 2014 cross-departmental goals, enhancing our customer service training program, focusing on the latest client needs, upgrading our Site Supervisor recruitment program, maintaining labor costs to budget and implementing a stronger cash handling/auditing process. In addition, we have strong momentum going in our selling efforts as a result of targeted marketing efforts as well as exceptional performance at the curb.

As the owner/operator of Entrepreneurial Solutions, I am dedicated to (and successful at) providing the operational and sales foundation that facilitate a business to get growing again. I work with my clients to develop a framework for analyzing their current business situation, reviewing and understanding their options, then guiding them in setting priorities and action plans. We continue to collaborate in execution of these plans using the continuous improvement model of Plan-Do-Check-Act. It is a very rewarding business that I am happy to be actively working in full time again.

I led the Market Day start-up operation in the greater Cincinnati/Dayton areas, growing revenues from $0 to $11M in 5 years. The number of Market Day accounts grew from just 3 in 1991 to 300 in 1996. Despite our market's smaller geographic area, we led the company for 3 years in number of accounts and revenue (outside the well established Chicago areas). I designed and implemented many in-district systems and procedures that were later adopted company wide. I wrote and developed monthly sales/training sessions that were among the most well attended in the company. The effectiveness of these sessions can be judged by the district's reputation for strongest customer service and most enthusiastic and effective account representatives.
