About María José Graña

I am an economist, turned into a business developer. I give support to foreign companies throughout their investment process in Uruguay. My vocation is business development, bringing French-speaking companies and people closer to the LatAm market and vice versa, through words.As a translator, I help French-speaking companies to establish or expand their business in LatAm, translating technical documents (manufacturer manuals, technical specifications, regulatory aspects), marketing content, market surveys among others. I did my primary and secondary studies in French and Spanish (Lycée Français de Montevideo), I lived in France twice (once to do my master's degree) and I am currently a student of sworn translation (4th year of French). My main experience is in technical translation, mostly in manufacturing (installation manuals, O&M of industrial equipment, plant health and safety plans) and pharmaceutical (more than 25,000 words in medical market studies).
