I went door to door around Wisconsin convincing homeowners to get a free estimate on their windows/doors/siding. I had to have great communication skills to be able to talk to different types of people. I also needed great persistence because most people do not want to buy anything when someone comes to their front door.

I started as a cashier clerk for the first few months. As a cashier clerk, I worked with handling money and purchase transactions. After a few months of working as a clerk, I was promoted to floor associate. A floor associate works with the presentation of the store, and customer interactions within the store.

I was a banquet server for high profile events (Weddings, Company Retreats, etc..). I had to present myself well, and interact well with the guests of the events. I also worked in the concession stands on gamedays for the minor league baseball team.
