About Masae Sinjo

I'm on a passionate journey to preserve and promote 800-year-old Japanese culture and tradition, Matcha. My dream is to safeguard this heritage by offering through innovative Matcha Tourism experiences in Kyoto.As the Founder and CEO of Matcha Tourism since June 2023, I've been pioneering the world's first end-to-end Matcha learning programs. We welcome tea enthusiasts from across the globe, providing them with Zen experiences through authentic Matcha making processes. But it doesn't stop there. We also offer tailored mindfulness programs for business executives, fostering the integration of Zen philosophy into their everyday lives.Born as a 5th generation Tea Farmer of the area with a background in English Language and business education, followed by 10 years of working at global financial firms, I've harnessed my skills in cross-cultural communication, people management, research and analysis, to shape Matcha Tourism into a transformative venture.In my journey, I've had the privilege of authoring three books and actively building talent of Japanese businesspeople for a brighter future. Now, I'm seeking investors and accelerators to join me in this cultural preservation and educational endeavor.
