About Masashi Hagihara

Masashi Hagihara graduated from Tokyo University (Educational Sociology) in 1984, and worked for Nikkei Research, Nihon Keizai Shimbun Europe (UK), and Recruit Research. From 1999, he served as the president and COO of NetRatings, Inc. for 10 years, and has been in his present position at Transcosmos, Inc. since 2009. From 2004, he jointly serves as the Chief of Macromill Net Research Institute, and is a member of the Japan Association for Public Opinion Research, and also well known as being the chairman of "SurveyML" community which is participated by about 5000 marketing professionals and researchers. He is also an author of the book "Next Generation Marketing Research, New Methods for Understanding Consumers in the Next Generation" published in March, 2011.
