As the Community Development Director I oversee divisions related to Planning, Zoning, Economic Development, Building, Code Enforcement, and Weed and Litter Prevention. I supervise approximately 25 employees and I serve as the department head.

As the Planning and Zoning Administrator, I run the day-to-day operations of the City of Zanesville’s planning efforts. This ranges from working with customers on site plans to looking to the future for new and exciting projects. My duties include: code compliance enforcement, attending and representing the City at Board meetings, interpreting and writing.

Zanesville, Ohio

During my time thus far with the City of Zanesville, I have been tasked with: working through the permitting process with customers, answering general zoning questions, researching and writing updates to the City Codes, reviewing site plans, preparing board staff reports, acting as a liaison between the community development office and the various City.

Medina, Ohio

Worked to enhance the lives of citizens throughout Medina Township. I ran the day-to-day operations of the Township. This included policy implementation, planning, and organizing community events. I have been heavily involved in working with state and federal officials on issues pertaining to roads, zoning, and local government funding.

New Concord, Ohio

I worked with the village administrator on a number of projects ranging from program creation to project management. This included working directly with the public, local businesses, and non-profit organizations to implement village policies.

Clinton, Ohio

As an assistant land manager my role was diversified between running day to day operations of a farm to administrative functions. I was in charge of project management, purchasing supplies, performing employee evaluations, and building relationships with contractors. On the administrative side, my role was to ensure EPA compliance and State regulatory.
