I am a focused and open minded individual. I am currently enrolled for PhD in Botany. My research focuses on abiotic stress and seeks to bring solutions to mitigate the effect of drought stress on the physiology, biochemical and morphology of the crops. Being a Golden key member, excellence is always what I strive for. I am passionate about research because not only does it expose one to a myriad of information through reading articles and engaging with the opinions of other researchers in the field. It also enhances critical thinking and problem solving skills. My experience involves working as a student assistant and a laboratory assistant. I have good oral communication skills, writing skills (scientific literature and report), proficiency in MS office (word, PowerPoint, excel), excellent in conducting trials in the greenhouse and laboratory experiments.
