- Assisted in research on LEPAS (Long-term Erie Plankton Abundance Survey) project- Identified, counted, and measured invasive plankton Bythotrephes longimanus using a dissecting microscope- Buffered phytoplankton and zooplankton samples- Chlorophyll analysis (processing and spectrophotometry)

I first visited Forfar Field Station as a student in high school. On this trip, I practiced marine and terrestrial species identification, earned my Open Water scuba certification (PADI). In December 2019, I returned to the station as a volunteer to help renovate and restore the station from hurricane damage. Daily activities included removing the invasive Casuarina pine, painting, weeding, and trash cleanup.

- Patrolled 1,081-acres of trails through wetlands and prairies- Ensured positive visitor experience by providing answers to questions and guidance through the park- Gave verbal warnings for violating park rules- Additional duties included setting up venues for events, trash duty, jumping cars, and animal rescue

- Performed field data collection: bird, land crab, and sea turtle population counts- Participated in community outreach programs: beach cleanups, education, trail maintenance, and guided hikes- Assisted with coral fragment cleaning and restoration- Captured, tagged, and relocated the endangered Lesser Antillean Iguana- Earned Advanced Open Water scuba certification (PADI)
