I am a Senior Business Analyst/Independent Consultant in Investments Online, responsible for ensuring that Nedbank realizes it’s digital strategy by providing investments solution on mobile and online platforms.Some of my key projects were in Nedbank’s Regulatory Change Portfolio, a division responsible for all regulatory and compliance solutions across the Nedbank Group and its subsidiaries in the SADC Region. My flagship projects implemented in the past 36 months included the Privacy Program which ensured that the bank and the 6 subsidiaries, are compliant with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and other privacy legislations and regulations as defined in the respective African subsidiaries (Malawi, Swaziland, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Lesotho and Namibia). The Anti Money Laundering (AML) project ensured that the bank identifies and verifies all parties (Ultimate beneficial owners) that are directly and indirectly linked to the primary clients. Other strategic projects include the implementation of the model bank solutions for the Group’s core banking system.I am a seasoned Business Analyst with just over 20 years’ business analyst experience across a spectrum of industries, 15 years of which was in the Banking and Financial services industry. I have been involved in various systems development projects and for the past 10 years, my focus has been in strategic, compliance and risk environments.I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) in Strategic Marketing, International Advanced Diploma in IT and Master’s in Information Technology. My strong academic background has provided a solid foundation in becoming a good Business Analyst.I am a musician, a music conductor and a cellist.
