As a Corporate trainer and Communication Expert for EY clients I have delivered ten different workshops across the EU , spanning over 3 days, on the topic of communication skills in recruitment, event communication and internal communication practises.

-Coordinates an EU project independently (www.padovafit.eu) , as part of a wider EU consortium, led by an Italian city-Manages the organisation's / comms project budget, organises events, creates promotional campaigns and material for the project, and develops reports and evaluations.-Supports colleagues, and fellow project managers (e.g. EU City Facility programme) with communication activities such as website development and maintenance, and social media campaigns.-Writes reports and coordinates graphic designers for project report layout.-Monitors the work of a network of 20+ national organisations, to ensure their work output was on time and of quality.-Leads peer-to-peer training programme in the organisation, created new concepts of internal training called Learn and share and 15 minutes of fame.

I started my entrepreneurship journey in 2011 when my first client contacted me and asked me to help him with his public speaking. In the first 2 years I combined this work with other private projects ( wedding planning, having my first child). When I went back to employment, I combined working full time with my passion to help others to speak in public with more confidence. My website was called Target Talk and most of the activity was in Brussels, Belgium, with English speaking professionals.

-Authored and implemented the organisation's first communication strategy, including a rebranding of the website.-Developed and implemented the communication plan for EU-funded projects of the organisation.-Provided value and presentations in public debates on digital skills and empowerment.-Represented the association and its value to potential members, and recruited new stakeholders for the network.-Organised and led the event team for two annual events, taking place in locations across Europe, counting more than 100 participants each.

-Assigned as Stakeholder Relations manager for the 1st EU-wide campaign on sustainable energy-Worked in a team alongside 5 consultants, focused on promoting the Sustainable Energy Europe Campaign.-Recruited new organisations and campaign associates and established long-term working relations and monitoring activities with existing stakeholders in the campaign-Travelled on several missions to EU countries and acted as campaign speaker or moderator. Wrote articles for the campaign newsletter.

As I was studying for a Master on EU affairs and spoke fluent English, I was initially hired as a communications assistant to help Ms. de Palacio organise her international schedule and speaking opportunities. I gradually started doing more research and speech writing for Ms. de Palacio's speeches in English and in Spanish. It was Ms. de Palacio who motivated me to apply to work at the European Commission as a trainee, and I will be always grateful to her for this. Sadly, Ms. de Palacio passed away in 2006, the year I started working for her. I have very fond memories of her, especially her fortitude, integrity and loyalty.
