SWDP or sustainable world development project is a voluntary organization solely dedicated to sustainability, as the name suggests. What we can learn from the name is simple, we are a team, who plans on working for the sustainable development goals, which are already mentioned by United Nations in its resolutions and also they have been mentions in its subsidiary bodies like UNICEF and WHO. The sustainable goals, 17 in number, are not all feasible in Bangladesh. We plan to work for those which are and the end goal is making our country actually reach it.While there are other organizations in town, with the same goal and same motto, we are not saying that we are different from them, trust me, we are NOT. Because end goal of every organization is to serve the country, or at least that is what we believe and we act accordingly. So, we will be thriving hard for the people to know about sustainability and the SDGs and the Vision 2030 and all these ‘alien’ concepts to make sure everyone knows his/her duty. We are not in any way a political organization and we don’t want to be as well. We believe the greater change cannot be made by any government, it has always been, and it will always be, the mass people. If we can make the people aware of the SDGs, we will make the country achieve the coveted goal.
