JOB DESCRIPTION: Environmental Management• Development of the environmental management frame work for Moqhaka Local Municipality• Development and implementation of environmental management plan for Moqhaka Local Municipality• Coordination of municipality conservation activities• Implementation of EPWP projects• Implementation of conservation and environmental regulations and relevant Acts Development and Management of Parks, Cemetery, Sports and Recreation• Coordinating all sports & recreation event and maintenance of the sport facilities like stadiums• Developing parks and implementation of maintenance programes.• Maintenance of cemetery and provide relevant services to the communities Main activities• IDP Projects Compilation and implementation• Compilation, implementation and evaluation of SDBIP• Stakeholders consultation and participation • Presentation of items to council• Project planning and coordination• Networking and communication• Financial management (Member of Bid Adjudication Committee)• Human resources management• Development, implementation and monitoring of the Environmental Management Plan Communication (Written & Verbal)• Compiling monthly, annual and progress reports• Compiling of annual budget• Compiling project and fund proposals
