Involved in core R&L functions as well as the UAE’s applicable regimes such as ESR under the Ministry of Finance, UBO and AML under the Ministry of Economy.Key responsibilities:• Execute the Registration and Licensing functions that includes Establishing a new company and issuance of Commercial License, Amending the company registry and commercial license, and complete the Deregistration formalities in compliance with all statutory requirements and procedures.• Ensure all Registration and Licensing transactions comply with the DOA.UAE FATF Assessment and AML – National Action Plan:• Part of the team designated for implementation of Anti Money Laundering Policy in DHCA as well as UAE FAFT assessment in 2019.• Working on UAE National Action Plan for both DDA and DHCA for fulfilling the requirements of both Phase 1 and Phase 2.CDD/EDD – Customer Risk Rating & Screening:• Based on MOE requirements, implementation of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) at the Registry of companies (ROC) level for both onboarding clients and existing business partners.• CDD and EDD is extended to all registry and license amendments and the information is verified by bank statements, ultimate UBO documents,• Using Refinitiv World-Check system for screening of onboarding clients as well as existing business partners for any match related to PEP’s, adverse media, AML related matters.Economic Substance Regulations:• As a member of DHCA ESR Committee, designed the guide and workflow for Economic Substance Regulations implementation for companies based in DHCA free zone.• Verification of ESR notifications and reports based on the relevant activity.
